A SHOPPING centre in Manchester was evacuated today causing mass disruption in the city centre.
Here's the latest on the incident and what you need to know.
Cops were called to Arndale shopping centre on the afternoon of October 4, where large groups had gathered outside.
Greater Manchester Police said they dealt with "a large group of youths causing anti-social behaviour towards security staff" on the second floor.
They evacuated the centre and cleared the food court, where the group had gathered.
Witnesses reported mass disruption, with one saying he saw a "riot van, four police cars and an ambulance" outside the Arndale.
Another told the Manchester Evening News they saw pepper spray being used by police, but this has not been confirmed by GMP.
